Five green hearts, set into hammered gold.

The cross is the whole story. Its surface is beaten and uneven, the edges left rough rather than filed smooth, so it reads like something found instead of something manufactured. Against that texture sit five deep green heart-cut stones in raised settings: one at the top, three across the arms, one below.

It hangs from a black cord that closes with a small lobster clasp and an extender chain, which lets it fall at the collarbone or drop a little further down.

This one comes a single way, in gold tone with green stones. Wear it against black, or against bare skin in summer where the colour does the most work.

This is a piece to wear on its own. Violette has enough presence that a second bold piece beside it only splits the attention, and both end up looking smaller.

Layering is possible but it has to be done carefully: keep the second chain much finer and much shorter than Violette, so it reads as a background note rather than a rival. Against a plain crew or scoop neck it is better on its own.
