Solange Heart Cutout Cord Necklace

The cord goes through the heart, not around it.
No jump ring, no bail. The pendant is a plump gold heart with a round opening at its centre, and the cord passes straight through that opening and knots against it, which is why the heart lies flat against you instead of swinging forward.
Both faces are domed and mirror-polished, so it looks substantial from the front and sits surprisingly light on the skin. A sliding knot at the back moves it up towards the collarbone or lower into a neckline.
One gold-tone design, one price. Layered under a shorter chain it does the long half of the look for very little.

The cord is the point. Pull the knot in for a high neckline, let it out for an open shirt, and Solange becomes two quite different necklaces without you buying anything else.
It layers well with one other length. Put Solange on first, add something longer underneath, and leave about two inches between them so neither disappears into the other.

How to choose your length

Start with what you own
Take a necklace you already reach for and measure it end to end — or lay a string around your neck where you'd like it to sit, then measure the string.

Think about layering
Two or three lengths at once sit best about 2" (5 cm) apart, so each chain has room to catch the light.

Consider your neckline
Crewnecks and turtlenecks take shorter chokers and princess lengths. V-necks and collared shirts leave room for matinee and opera lengths.
18" (princess length) is the one ordered most since 2023 — it sits just below the collarbone and layers with both shorter and longer pieces.
Many of the chains include a short extender near the clasp, giving you 1–2" (2.5–5 cm) either way. The product page lists the exact length and extender.
The placements above are for an average neck. A fuller or slimmer neck shifts where a length sits by roughly half an inch either way.
