Marion Sun Pendant Pearl Necklace

A rayed sun hung from a row of pearls.

The front half of the necklace is strung with small round pearls, linked one at a time so they curve neatly along the collarbone. Behind the ears it changes into a fine satellite chain scattered with gold beads. The sun hangs at the lowest point, its pointed rays flaring out around a smooth domed centre.

A lobster clasp and short extender let you take up a little length. One gold-tone version, complete as pictured.

Pretty on its own against a white shirt or a cream dress, and easy to pair with one plain chain if you want depth.

Marion is warm rather than formal. It goes with a crew neck and a bare face as easily as with anything you would plan an outfit around.

It layers well with one other length. Put Marion on first, add something longer underneath, and leave about two inches between them so neither disappears into the other.
