An open C of gold, with a stone-set bar hanging off the end.

The hoop doesn't close — it curves round on a post and stops, which is what gives it the C shape and makes it sit forward on the lobe rather than flat against it. From the open end hangs a slim bar set with alternating rectangular and round stones, five in a row, bezelled flush so nothing snags.

Gold-tone, one design, sold as a pair with butterfly backs.

The bar swings just enough to flash when you talk. Good with a v-neck and a chunky chain.

More than a stud, still light enough to forget you have them on.
