Small stones, close together, on a band that opens at the back.

Both designs are slim and both are open-backed, so they flex to fit and can be moved to whichever finger you feel like wearing them on that morning.

The first sets a clear marquise stone at the centre, with soft champagne ovals either side and tiny round crystals filling the gaps — a little uneven, the way antique settings are. The second is a beaded wrap band whose ends pass each other, with marquise and round stones arranged into a small butterfly at the front.

Either one is delicate enough to stack beside a plain band, or to wear on its own on the little finger.

The kind of small ring you end up wearing every day.
