A ribbed gold-tone band runs in one continuous circle, wound tight like a coil, with a single faceted stone hanging from a small bail at the front. The band is 0.4 cm wide and 6.4 cm across, so it sits close to the wrist rather than perching on it. The stone is a clear teardrop, faceted so it catches light as your wrist moves.
Same coil, three charms: teardrop, round and marquise. This is the teardrop; the round is the most classic and the marquise has the longest drop.
Wear it alone on a bare wrist so the single stone reads, or push it up against a watch or a bangle you already own.

Gaelle is built to be the first thing you put on. Leave the wrist otherwise bare and let the single stone catch the light on its own.
If you want to stack, add one other piece and keep the proportions uneven: a wide band against this fine coil looks chosen rather than matched.

There isn't any, and that's the point. Shower in it, swim in it, sweat in it, sleep in it. Chlorine, salt water and sanitizer are all fine.
The one honest limit: perfume, hairspray, body oil and nail polish remover dull any finish over time, ours included. Apply those first, jewelry second.

- Most Macaje bracelets and cuffs are adjustable or open-style, fitting wrists from about 5.5" to 8" (14–20 cm). Anklets follow the same sizing, with roughly 2" (5 cm) extra so they drape at the ankle.
How to measure your wrist

Wrap a tape or string
Wrap a soft measuring tape — or a strip of string, then measure it against a ruler — around your wrist, just past the wrist bone.

Keep it snug, not tight
The tape should sit the way a bracelet does: close to the skin, without pinching.

Choose your fit
Snug: add about 0.5" to your wrist measurement. Everyday: add 0.75–1". Loose and dangling: add 1.25" or more.
Gently — the open-style cuffs and bangles flex slightly wider or narrower by hand. Move them in small increments so you don't over-bend the metal.
A bracelet is a flexible chain that sits loosely on the wrist; a bangle is a rigid band that slides over the hand. Bangles run slightly larger than your wrist so the hand can pass through.
Size up for bracelets, down for bangles. Extra room in a chain is comfortable; a bangle only needs enough clearance to slide on and off.

I actually found Macaje through ChatGPT while I was searching for some boho-style jewelry. I had a few specific pieces in mind, especially a pearl choker, and Macaje came up as a recommendation. It's beautiful, but too big for any of my fingers. I use a size 5 or 6, but it can only be adjusted between 6.5 and larger.
